Multi-Mod Rad Technologist, Float

About the role

The Multi-Modality Technologist performs at least two procedures: CT and X-Ray. This role supports the second or additional modalities on a routine basis and must be available to work in the modality. Additionally, this position requires on-call coverage for these modalities.

Qualifications

• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
• Required Education: High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline
• Preferred Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Necessary Skills:
  • Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
  • Communicates exams/procedures to patients
  • Knowledge computer software and ability to troubleshoot
  • Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
  • Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities
• Required Licensure/Certifications:
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS
• Required Experience: 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
