Rad Technologist - Float

About the role

The Multi-Modality Technologist performs at least two procedures, primarily CT and X-Ray, supporting additional modalities as needed and providing on-call coverage. They are committed to patient-centered care and uphold the standards of a registered technologist.

Responsibilities

• Execute radiographic procedures
• Communicate with patients
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Maintain competency across modalities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited Radiology program
• 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience

Skills

• Knowledge of radiographic practices
• Proficiency with imaging equipment
• Familiarity with computer software

Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Licensure or certification in at least two radiology modalities through recognized agencies such as ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS
