Rad Technologist, Float

About the role

The Multi-Modality Technologist performs at least two procedures, primarily CT and X-Ray, supporting additional modalities and providing on-call coverage. They deliver patient-centered care while maintaining the standards of a registered technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performing imaging procedures across modalities, ensuring quality and safety
• Troubleshooting equipment
• Delivering excellent patient care within the scope of registered technologist standards

Qualifications

• All age groups served
• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, and licensure/certification in two radiology modalities (e.g., ARRT, NMTCB, ARDMS)
• 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience

Skills

• Knowledge of radiographic procedures, imaging equipment, and patient care tools
• Strong communication skills for explaining exams to patients
• Proficiency in computer software and troubleshooting
• Maintaining competency in at least two modalities
