Pediatric Clinic (Seymour), a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking an experienced Multi-Duty Receptionist to join their passionate, authentic, and growing team of professionals.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with one Saturday rotation per month (8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) at the Huxley office.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls in a professional manner and assist callers appropriately.
  • Greet patients and visitors promptly, courteously, and helpfully.
  • Check in patients, verify and update medical records/database, perform registration functions, and collect copays and balances due.
  • Assist patients with ambulatory difficulties or other needs as appropriate.
  • Schedule appointments, handle referrals, and complete pre-certifications.
  • File charts and coordinate lab work as requested.
  • Sort and deliver mail, medical records, and other correspondence.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
  • Demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality; notify supervisor at least two weeks in advance for planned time off (excluding emergencies).
  • Support coworkers and contribute to team success.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality internally and externally.
  • Adhere to the corporate compliance plan and policies.
  • Participate in site-level Quality Improvement Activities, including performance evaluation and implementation of improvement measures.
  • Perform related work as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • One year of experience in a medical office setting (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organization.
  • Ability to build trust through active listening and collaboration.
  • Team-first mindset with a desire to help others and pursue excellence.
