About the Role

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for setup, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of complex mechanical/electrical equipment, including:

  • Automatic machines and process controls
  • Motor control centers and related controls
  • Computer control systems, some with human/machine interfaces
  • Basic plant electrical equipment

This role also includes preventive maintenance activities related to production and building equipment, machinery, and components.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and accurately reports personal activities on a daily or more frequent basis
  • Assists the Maintenance Lead Person and/or Maintenance Manager in determining proper installation and/or repair procedures for mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic equipment
  • Notifies the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Lead Person if additional hand, power, or electronic diagnostic tools are required
  • Participates in a preventive maintenance program as directed by Maintenance supervision
  • Ensures safe work practices and company policies are adhered to at all times
  • Assists in establishing and maintaining optimum inventory levels of critical components
  • Performs other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager
  • Capable of operating a lift truck
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license
