About the role
Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center, operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, provides adult inpatient mental health services and sex offender rehabilitation services. The center is a 348-bed Joint Commission accredited long-term care psychiatric hospital that complies with the requirements of The Joint Commission (TJC) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Social workers play a key role within an interdisciplinary team approach.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of an interdisciplinary team in a long-term care psychiatric hospital setting.
- Provide social work services to adults receiving inpatient mental health and sex offender rehabilitation services.
