About the role

DAS Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Procurement & Asset Manager to lead acquisition strategies, manage inventory, and build strong industry relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead acquisition strategies and manage inventory
  • Build strong industry relationships that drive long-term growth
  • Ensure all work is done in a safe and professional manner
  • Comply with current Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Ensure all necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders are properly executed
  • Ensure work area cleanliness and good housekeeping
  • Ensure proper tooling and equipment is utilized, calibrated, and in good working order
  • Ensure the repair and overhaul of all articles and components is accomplished within the authority of the Repair Station and that the work is inspected by the inspection department
  • Ensure the proper handling and tagging of all parts while in the repair process and through work completion
  • Ensure incoming parts, supplies, and articles receive an incoming inspection (Receiving Inspection) to determine airworthiness prior to use for a repair or modification
  • Ensure no defective, non-conformed, or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component or assembly
  • Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
  • Perform all job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements

  • A High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A technical degree is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation to get to work each and every day.
  • Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
  • Maintain customer-oriented work habits.

Qualifications

  • Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines.
  • Interdepartmental coordination.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Work with others in a professional manner.
  • Experience with Apple and Microsoft products especially Outlook, Word, and Excel spreadsheets.
