MRI Technologist - Pediatric

Key Duties

• Preparing and positioning patients
• Selecting technical parameters for accurate imaging
• Performing patient pre-screening, scheduling, and educational activities
• Entering and monitoring patient data
• Transferring images and ensuring high-quality submissions to PACS
• Administering contrast media or medications within scope and regulations
• Maintaining equipment functionality and reporting malfunctions
• Keeping department areas clean and organized
• Ensuring safety and performing additional assigned duties

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology or MRI program
• ARRT-R credential and either ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification within 12 months
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS HCP)

Skills And Physical Requirements

• Constant standing, walking, and frequent use of vision, hearing, and speech
• Ability to lift/carry objects up to 50 lbs and assist with patient movements
• Repetitive movements, bending, stooping, and occasional kneeling or sitting

Pay

This role offers shift differentials for night and weekend shifts, with pay starting at $35.81/hour.
