MRI Technologist - Pediatric

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, position patients, and select technical parameters for imaging.
• Perform patient screening, scheduling, and education.
• Transfer images, enter data, and ensure high-quality submissions to PACS.
• Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions.
• Ensure a clean and safe department environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of Radiology or MRI program.
• ARRT-R credential required; ARMRIT or ARRT-MR within 12 months of hire.
• No prior experience needed.
• Physical ability for frequent standing, lifting, and patient handling.
• Proper vision, hearing, and communication skills.

Certifications

• BLS Healthcare Provider.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT.
