MRI Technologist - Pediatric

About the Role

This role involves operating MRI or radiology scanners to produce diagnostic images for medical assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Select appropriate technical parameters for scans
• Perform patient screening, education, and data entry
• Administer contrast media within scope of practice
• Ensure high-quality image submission
• Maintain equipment functionality and cleanliness
• Maintain a clean, safe environment
• Assist with department organization

Requirements

• Completion of a radiology or MRI program
• ARRT-R and ARMRIT or ARRT-MR credentials required within 12 months of hire
• No prior experience necessary
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive motions
• Good vision and communication skills

Certifications

• BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification
