About the Role
This role involves operating MRI or radiology scanners to produce diagnostic images for medical assessment and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Select appropriate technical parameters for scans
- Perform patient screening, education, and data entry
- Administer contrast media within scope of practice
- Ensure high-quality image submission
- Maintain equipment functionality and cleanliness
- Maintain a clean, safe environment
- Assist with department organization
Requirements
- Completion of a radiology or MRI program
- ARRT-R and ARMRIT or ARRT-MR credentials required within 12 months of hire
- No prior experience necessary
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive motions
- Good vision and communication skills
Certifications
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification
Schedule
PRN shifts with shift differentials, day shift.
