About the Role
Operates MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, ensuring high-quality results for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, position patients, and select technical parameters for accurate imaging.
- Perform pre-screening, patient education, and data entry.
- Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
- Monitor image quality, ensure proper equipment functioning, and report issues.
- Maintain department cleanliness and safety standards.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of a Radiology or MRI program.
- ARRT-R certification and either ARMRIT or ARRT-MR within 12 months of hire.
- No prior experience required.
- Physical ability for standing, lifting, pushing, and patient handling.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Relevant radiologic technologist certifications.
Pay
Starting at $35.81/hour, including shift differentials.
Schedule
PRN (as-needed) day shift.
