MRI Technologist - Night Shift (Part-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in an advanced medical environment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, independently conducting imaging studies, and overseeing shift operations to ensure smooth workflow. The technologist serves as a clinical resource, problem solver, and mentor to staff and students while ensuring quality control and proper communication with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily assignments and workflow for the shift
• Prepare patients and equipment for MRI procedures
• Independently conduct diagnostic imaging studies
• Troubleshoot equipment and IT issues
• Maintain supplies and ensure quality control
• Delegate tasks and assist with complex exams
• Mentor staff and students as a clinical resource
• Serve as a problem solver and ensure proper communication with supervisors

Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
• 2+ years of experience in MRI or radiology

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Additional certifications such as CPR
