MRI Technologist - Night Shift (Part-Time)

About the role

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will prepare patients and equipment, conduct studies independently or during on-call situations, and serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations, manage workflow, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting, problem solving, and mentoring colleagues.
• Ensure proper communication with supervisors and maintain necessary supplies.
• Delegate tasks and assume supervisory responsibilities in their absence.
• Support the development and training of new staff and students.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school equivalency.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and/or MR.
• 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Licenses and certifications such as IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, and others.
• Preferred experience includes 5-10 years in the field and CPR certification.

Schedule

The role offers a full-time overnight schedule with four 10-hour shifts, no call or weekends, and opportunities for mentorship and professional growth within a leading healthcare environment.
