MPR, Medical Practice Representative / Front Desk
Employment Type: Part time
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
About the role
Medical Practice Representative serves as the primary contact and liaison between the office and all outside parties. Performs duties such as scheduling appointments, entering patient demographics into the system, and filing and maintaining patient medical records.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and register patients
- Gather insurance information and verify demographics
- Perform soft collections
- Answer incoming calls
- Use EPIC electronic health record system
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One to two years of medical office experience preferred
- Experience answering a multiline telephone system preferred
- Basic computer skills required
