MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR

About the role

MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR position available at LOG SOUTHERN MAINE facility. Requires a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and at least two years of unsupervised driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned vehicles safely and efficiently
• Load and unload vehicles according to postal regulations
• Deliver packages and mail in accordance with postal service procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
• Operate vehicles in accordance with federal and state regulations

Requirements

• Valid CDL
• Two years of unsupervised driving experience
• One year of full-time unsupervised experience driving a 7-ton or larger truck, tractor-trailer, or 16-passenger or larger bus
• Safe driving record
• Must inform the Postal Service of all previous employment as a commercial vehicle driver for the past 10 years
• Pre-employment drug screen required

• Must be able to communicate in and understand the English language with or without reasonable disability accommodation
• Must meet medical suitability, general eligibility, and suitability requirements

Pay

Starting salary range: \$30.02 per hour paid bi-weekly
