Mortgage Operations Support Specialist (MOSA) - Pensacola, FL
About the role
This contract role provides operational support to mortgage lending teams by assisting with loan setup, document processing, and member follow-up. The position supports mortgage production activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution throughout the loan origination process.
Responsibilities
- Support Mortgage Loan Officers, Processors, and Closers with daily loan production tasks
- Aid in new loan setup, document indexing, validation, and system updates
- Conduct initial member contact
- Follow up on outstanding documentation and update mortgage status
- Review production reports and escalate issues as needed
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and external agencies to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Some post-secondary education is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and numbers
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and multiple internal systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable navigating multiple screens and adapting to new technologies
Qualifications

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
