About the role

This contract role provides operational support to mortgage lending teams by assisting with loan setup, document processing, and member follow-up. The position supports mortgage production activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution throughout the loan origination process.

Responsibilities

  • Support Mortgage Loan Officers, Processors, and Closers with daily loan production tasks
  • Aid in new loan setup, document indexing, validation, and system updates
  • Conduct initial member contact
  • Follow up on outstanding documentation and update mortgage status
  • Review production reports and escalate issues as needed
  • Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and external agencies to resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Some post-secondary education is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and numbers
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and multiple internal systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable navigating multiple screens and adapting to new technologies

Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
