Loan Operations Specialist

Essential Duties

• Use loan policy and approval information to understand what documentation is necessary to produce various types of loans.
• Request and obtain any documentation that is missing and necessary for the loan.
• Produce loan documents accurately and in a timely manner by using LaserPro, nCino, and other bank programs.
• Communicate with branch staff to ensure documents are accurate.
• Set up documents tracking lists for commercial real estate loans.
• Explain terms and conditions of loans when necessary.
• Aid bank staff and customers with any questions or issues related to loan documents and provide necessary support throughout the loan process.
• Notify the relevant parties when the loan processing is complete.

Secondary Duties

• Aid in the training of new employees.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or higher in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience in the banking or financial industry is a plus.

Work Schedule

• This position requires 40 hours each week.
• Work generally being completed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
• Limited travel to a couple of training sessions each year.
