Responsibilities
- Oversight of daily operations and assigned team members
- Leadership, coaching, and development of lending and support staff
- Lending decision making within established authority levels
- Evaluation of loan files and determination of appropriate actions
- Compliance with lending policies and procedures
- Monitoring of loan pipelines, workflow, productivity, and key performance metrics
- Resolution of escalated member or customer concerns and complex lending situations
- Development and maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analysis of financial information, credit data, and risk factors
- Supporting process improvements, training initiatives, and documentation
- Promotion of adherence to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical lending practices
- Preparation of performance reports and communication of trends and operational updates
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, consumer lending, financial services, or a related banking environment
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of residential lending processes, loan products, underwriting principles, and credit analysis
- Working knowledge of applicable lending regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
