Mortgage Loan Processor II

Prevail Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor II to assist Mortgage Loan Officers with various loan-related tasks. Duties include reviewing lender notes, preparing loan disclosures, verifying documentation, coordinating loan closings, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.

• Review lender notes for special instructions
• Complete Pre-UW scrub of loan files
• Prepare and review initial loan disclosures
• Verify borrower e-consent and Patriot Act information
• Order and update third-party verifications and documents
• Communicate with Mortgage Loan Officers and borrowers
• Coordinate loan closings with title companies
• Prepare and provide closing packages
• Manage tasks and deadlines according to established protocols

The ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in mortgage processing is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in mortgage processing or related field
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

• Experience with loan origination systems (LOS)
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
