Mortgage Loan Processor

About the role

Provides assistance to the Mortgage Department in the servicing of Mid Oregon's mortgage loans. The position is located in the Old Mill Building and the starting date is approximately two weeks after hire.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify mortgage loan applications
• Prepare loan documents
• Communicate with vendors
• Field questions from members

Requirements

• One to three years of similar or related experience
• Education: a two‑year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification/licensing, or completion of vendor‑conducted training courses, or job‑specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program
• Physical requirements: speaking on the telephone ~40% of workday; occasional snow shoveling; continuous sitting, standing, talking, listening; repetitive hand use (typing/writing); vision at 20 inches or less; memory for credit union policies, services, and regulations; occasional lifting up to 35 lb; bending, squatting, kneeling; reaching above shoulder level
• Work environment: office setting with average noise from computers, printers, scanners, phones, and conversations; located in Central Oregon; winter weather may affect travel; seasonal fires may impact air quality

Schedule

Typical work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; hybrid option available after 6 months if eligible.
