Morning/Afternoon (9am-2pm) Part-Time Athletics Office Coordinator
About the role
This position coordinates routine office functions of a collegiate athletic department and supports office operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily operations of the athletics office, providing customer service and administrative support.
- Maintain departmental records, files, and compliance documentation.
- Care for athletic program administration, including sport records, official documents, game contracts, rosters, certificates, and end-of-season recognition materials.
- Support game-day and event operations, preparing game materials, assisting with home and away contests, and coordinating with opposing institutions and departmental staff.
- Process departmental financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, work orders, meal vouchers, and other operational expenditures.
- Care for team travel and transportation logistics, including overnight trips, championship travel, vehicle scheduling, and related arrangements.
- Aid in personnel and student worker administration, supporting hiring processes, monitoring schedules, and ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Maintain athletic equipment, uniforms, facilities, and inventory records.
- Support athletic and recreational programs, including intramural activities, special events, and departmental initiatives.

Requirements
Associate’s Degree. Three years of prior experience working in a student services or office environment that required the delivery of information verbally and written to students and/or the general public. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and proficient with correspondence with students, staff, companies, officials etc. requiring the ability to create standard reports, professional documents and communications. Even Better If You Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Demonstrated proficiency with a database system (Ellucian Colleague or similar).
- One year of prior experience working in an athletic department.
Qualifications
Must have an Associate’s Degree.
Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrated proficiency with a database system (Ellucian Colleague or similar), and strong organizational and communication skills.
