Modification Shop Assembler - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Assembles and/or modifies electrical control products orders based on customer specifications, electrical diagrams, schematics, and control options.
• Performs the physical tasks involved in the assembly, modification, testing, packaging, and distribution of finished goods products and materials.
• Uses specific approved process job instructions to assemble, modify, wire, test, and troubleshoot using hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and SAP desktop functions.
• May use, but not limited to, power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, torque wrenches, wire strippers, crimpers, and other modification methods.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, ensuring daily clean-up is performed according to the 5S program.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Basic tool handling skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and follow written and verbal instructions.
• High capacity for reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Licensed to work in the United States on a continuous and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Electronic/Mechanical Engineering and/or Mechanical/Automotive repair experience.
• Basic electrical wiring, fluke meter, control switches.
