What You Will Do
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor
- Able to mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components including frames, compressors, fans assemblies, control boxes, coils, panels, motors, nuts, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc., to completely assemble comfort units
- Communicate effectively with team and supervisors. Coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot any issues including any shortages or outages
- Visually inspect assembled products to ensure that all parts are properly aligned, connected, and functioning correctly
- Packaging units and parts with all necessary components including warranties and manuals. Choose correct packaging materials to protect the nature of the product
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace
- Perform any and all other department duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Sweeping and straightening of the workplace is required for a safe and productive atmosphere
Job Requirements
- Read and write English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read tape measure
- Good problem solving skills
- Prior carpentry/construction experience preferred
