What You Will Do

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor
• Able to mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components including frames, compressors, fans assemblies, control boxes, coils, panels, motors, nuts, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc., to completely assemble comfort units
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors. Coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot any issues including any shortages or outages
• Visually inspect assembled products to ensure that all parts are properly aligned, connected, and functioning correctly
• Packaging units and parts with all necessary components including warranties and manuals. Choose correct packaging materials to protect the nature of the product
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace
• Perform any and all other department duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Sweeping and straightening of the workplace is required for a safe and productive atmosphere

Job Requirements

• Read and write English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read tape measure
• Good problem solving skills
• Prior carpentry/construction experience preferred
