Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Set-up printers and related equipment.
  • Perform regular quality inspections under a microscope at the required frequency.
  • Create screens for the printing process using established procedures.
  • Perform thickness and resistance testing at required frequency and record results.
  • Inspect finished product using a video microscope.
  • Count and package finished product.
  • Perform other job activities as assigned.

Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Experience

  • A high school diploma required, previous industrial work experience preferably in a printing environment.
  • Ability to learn all printer setup functions and perform those tasks in the required timeframes.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use thickness meters and perform bench resistance testing.
  • Familiarity with blueprints and FIFO (first in first out).
  • Ability to consistently identify good product vs. product that does not meet specifications – eye for detail is required.
  • Ability to read and follow operating procedures (IOP) and environmental health and safety procedures with no exceptions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Equipment Used

  • Computerized production equipment,
  • variety of small hand tools including but not limited to soldering irons, torque wrenches, pliers, scissors, handheld tape dispenser, box cutter (utility knife), magnification tables/scopes

Personal Protective Equipment/Clothing Required (PPE)

  • Safety glasses with attached side shields;
  • ESD smock and grounding equipment;
  • Heat resistant and/or cut resistant gloves – based on workstation;
  • Hairnets;
  • Disposable nitrile gloves/finger cots as required.
