About the role
Our client, a leader in retail and facility management, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile HVAC/R Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and ensuring the safety and comfort of the environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Responsibilities
- Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities to optimize performance and longevity.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility systems and equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Conduct inspections of interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting, to identify and address issues proactively.
- Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo to document work performed, update work order statuses, and manage maintenance activities efficiently.
- Support energy-efficient and safe operation of all equipment, maintaining records of past experiences and repairs for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems, including rack refrigeration.
- Valid state driver's license and willingness to perform call-in work and other duties as required.
