Mobile Crisis Response Clinician (26-126)

FTE: Full-time, non-exempt | Unit: UAW | Department/Location: Crisis

Compensation

Compensation: $27.49 – $36.44 per hour (final offer based on internal equity, skills, education, experience, and credentials). Additional compensation: 10% premium pay. $2,000 master’s-level full license incentive.

About the role

Network180 is the behavioral health community organization responsible for delivering mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services in Kent County. We seek a passionate Mobile Crisis Response Clinician to deliver intervention services as part of a community-based crisis response team serving clients and families in Kent County.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 10:00 am – 8:00 pm on a four-week rotating schedule. Includes one weekend per month and holiday requirements. On-call availability required 24/7 on a rotating basis. In-person at 790 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, and within Kent County.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients and families in the community.
• Conduct psychological, emotional, and sociological assessments and diagnoses.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in high-stress situations.
• Work effectively in multicultural environments and bridge language/cultural barriers.
• Document services in compliance with professional ethics and standards of practice.
• Use computer skills for word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology, or a Doctorate in Psychology.
• Limited or full licensure in Michigan as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Full licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Psychologist; OR eligibility for limited licensure and obtainment within three months of hire.
• Thorough working knowledge of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
• Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and bridge language/cultural barriers.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation for job-related use.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full licensure in Michigan as an LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist.
• One year of experience in community-based crisis intervention.
• Specialized training and at least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Credentialed through the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals.
• Three years of post-graduate experience.
• Lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders.
