Mobile Crisis Clinician
About the role
As a Mobile Crisis Clinician, you’ll be on the front lines supporting individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. Working as part of a compassionate, fast-acting team, you’ll provide assessments, interventions, and strength-based crisis planning to ensure safety and stabilization. Every day, you’ll collaborate with families, law enforcement, hospitals, and community partners to deliver timely, coordinated care; helping individuals find hope and regain stability when they need it most.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in community and office-based settings
- Participate in the crisis phone support rotation
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to connect families to community resources
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from a college or university accredited by an entity approved by USDOE or CHEA in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina license as an LPC, LCSW, LPA, LCAS, or LMFT (Provisionally licensed candidates such as LPCA, LCSWA, LCASA, etc. will be considered at management’s discretion)
- Two years of mental health and/or substance abuse experience
- Minimum two years of previous work experience demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Valid, unrestricted, state-appropriate driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for travel throughout the assigned area

- Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm or 9:30am – 5:30pm
