• Follows physician orders and administers regularly scheduled oral, topical, suppository, nasal and ocular medications to residents who are clinically stable.
• Consults with the Nurse to assess a resident who requests a "prn" (as needed) medication.
• Reports to Nurse observations regarding changes in resident's status.
• Observes the five rights of medication administration.
• Safeguards medications by ensuring they are re-ordered in a timely fashion and are available for scheduled and prn administration.
• Adheres to duties and responsibilities as LNA.
• Completes any duties as assigned.

Requirements

• MNA licensed by the State of New Hampshire.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
