Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care services to residents
- Assist in the preparation and administration of medications to stable residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with all state regulations and RiverMead policies
- Administer PRN medications with prior approval from a licensed nurse following resident evaluation
- Support and monitor resident self-administration of medications, documenting appropriately and reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including charts, reports, and forms
- Collaborate with nurses, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to support individualized care plans
- Recognize and respond appropriately to emergencies
Shift Differentials
- 2nd Shift: +$2.00/hour
- 3rd Shift: +$2.50/hour
- Weekend Differential: +$1.50/hour (Friday 5:00 PM – Sunday midnight)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience; long-term care experience preferred
- Successful completion of Nursing Assistant and Medication Nursing Assistant training programs that meet federal and state requirements
- Current New Hampshire licensure as a Nursing Assistant and Medication Nursing Assistant
- CPR certification required
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable, self-directed, and a collaborative team player with a positive attitude
