Millwork Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provides sales and marketing support and coordination of programs and promotions for the Millwork business.
• Monitor and track product sales, gross profit, product mix, promotional events, and growth.
• Potentially spends 20-25% time visiting customers.
• Aids in developing and communicating strategic team goals that maximize profit in sales territory.
• Supports information systems, maintains current product information, price list, and bill of materials in system.
• Serves as a liaison with vendors, sales representatives, and customers ensuring timely and accurate data in systems.
• Affords assistance to inside sales team with customer sales calls and provides quotes.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of competitor products.
• Analyzes new business opportunities, implements and coordinates merchandising, updates customers on new and existing products, promotions, and services.
• Trains customers, Boise Cascade staff, and vendors.

Requirements

• Basic Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function.
• Must be able to safely drive to customer locations and physically place product displays.
• Requires moderate physical exertion.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a self-directed manner.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prefer three (3) to five (5) years in millwork and broad knowledge of building product lines.
