The Millwork Estimating and Purchasing Manager is a critical hybrid position responsible for both estimating and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of architectural millwork and/or the trade show industry, along with the ability to work closely with internal teams and outside vendors to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to create accurate and detailed cost estimates.
  • Prepare bid proposals and respond to RFQs, RFPs, and pricing requests.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
  • Source pricing from vendors for materials, components, and services.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders to support schedules and production.
  • Track orders, lead times, and deliveries to ensure on-time receipt.
  • Support project coordination as needed to help jobs move smoothly from inception through completion.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of millwork and exhibit materials.
  • 3+ years of work experience in estimating, purchasing, procurement, or materials management.
  • Experience reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Works independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with NetSuite - is a plus!
