Responsibilities
- Build lasting client relationships to drive sales and long-term profitability.
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
- Optimize profitability, product mix, and inventory turnover for assigned products.
- Ensure effective product performance while fostering strong customer and supplier relations.
- Provide sales and technical support, resolving customer service issues.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies and sales solutions.
- Communicate value propositions and refine sales approaches as needed.
- Promote existing products and introduce new opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Monitor sales performance and profitability, crafting strategic pricing models.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including branches, supply chain, and product management.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree; equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Building material industry experience with Millwork.
- Proven ability to grow and maintain a large book of business.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Expertise in customer support, inventory management, and consultative sales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in the building materials industry, specifically with millwork.
- Proven track record of increasing sales and maintaining a large customer base.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with inventory management and financial reporting.
