Responsibilities

  • Build lasting client relationships to drive sales and long-term profitability.
  • Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
  • Optimize profitability, product mix, and inventory turnover for assigned products.
  • Ensure effective product performance while fostering strong customer and supplier relations.
  • Provide sales and technical support, resolving customer service issues.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies and sales solutions.
  • Communicate value propositions and refine sales approaches as needed.
  • Promote existing products and introduce new opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor sales performance and profitability, crafting strategic pricing models.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including branches, supply chain, and product management.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree; equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Building material industry experience with Millwork.
  • Proven ability to grow and maintain a large book of business.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Expertise in customer support, inventory management, and consultative sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the building materials industry, preferably in sales and/or customer service roles.
  • Experience with inventory management and product optimization.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of building materials and construction processes.
