About the role

M+Sa is a mid-sized architectural firm focused on design excellence, with offices in Philadelphia, PA and Princeton NJ. Areas of practice include cultural and civic institutions, educational facilities, restoration, and adaptive use. We apply our expertise to deliver transformational and sustainable design solutions for existing and new buildings that contribute meaningfully to the built environment and their communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop design and technical solutions through all phases of the project
• Contribute and inform construction document production
• Code research, application and development of code sheets
• Construction detailing and product research
• Direct, mentor, and review work of team members
• Meet with Project Manager and Partner in Charge on a regular basis to ensure client goals and expectations are being met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Professional licensure is preferred but not required
• 5+ years of experience in architectural design
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, familiarity with Enscape and Sketchup
• Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and zoning regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design a plus
