About the role
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Architectural Designer based in Redondo Beach, CA.
Responsibilities
- Navigate the plan check process
- Develop projects from concept through completion
- Coordinate with consultants and building departments
- Understand site planning and design principles
- Show strong design sensibility with attention to detail
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with the team
- Lead aspects of projects when needed
Requirements
- Professional degree from an accredited architecture program
- 7–12+ years of architectural experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required); Photoshop a plus
- Solid detailing knowledge and experience
- Working knowledge of California building codes and residential construction practices
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Strong design sensibility with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
