Milk Receiver

About the role

The Milk Receiver position plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of Maola's dairy processing facilities. This role involves receiving raw milk from dairy tankers, ensuring it meets company and regulatory standards, and communicating effectively with team members to maintain quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive milk and condensed milk from delivery trucks for processing
• Pull samples of milk for quality testing to ensure compliance with company and government standards
• Adhere to all food safety policies and regulatory requirements, including FDA, HACCP, GMP, and OSHA
• Utilize established inventory systems to track and manage product flow
• Communicate effectively with Production Supervisors and Lab Technicians regarding product issues or concerns
• Participate in initiatives to improve workplace safety, reduce waste, and enhance production efficiency
• Clean and maintain equipment according to sanitation and maintenance standards
• Complete all required training in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of dairy production and process flow preferred
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with automated equipment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Schedule

Shift: 1st Shift
HOURS: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM; willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
