Milk Processor-Receiver (2nd Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a 2nd shift Bulk Milk Receiver / Shipper to join our team based out of our West Springfield, MA plant. This is a full time (40 hours/week), 2nd shift (3pm- 11pm) position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper sampling, temperature, laboratory analysis, unloading, loading, and storage of milk, cream, or other blends consistent with governmental regulation.
• Maintain facilities in a sanitary manner to include Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of walls, floors, ceilings and other non-contact surfaces.
• Drive yard horse on property only.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED combined with strong writing and math skills, with preference given to candidates who have experience working in a manufacturing setting.
• Candidates who are mechanically inclined may be more successful in this role.
• Occasional handling and maneuvering of objects weighing up to 100 lbs. while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Qualifications

• Preferable Dairy experience.

Skills

• Strong writing and math skills.
• Experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Preference for candidates with mechanical aptitude.

Pay

The position offers a base rate pay of \$27.74 per hour and additional 7%-evening differential added to the base rate.

Schedule

This is a 2nd shift (3pm- 11pm) position.
