Milk Processor-Receiver (3rd Shift)

About the role

Agri-Mark/McCadam/Cabot Creamery is a farmer‑owned cooperative with over 100 years of history, B Corp certified since 2012, and committed to sustainability, integrity, teamwork, and award‑winning dairy products. The company is seeking a 3rd‑shift Bulk Milk Receiver/Shipper for its West Springfield, MA plant to work in the receiving bays with milk tankers, ensuring proper sampling, testing, unloading, loading, and storage of milk and related products while maintaining sanitary conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform proper sampling, temperature checks, and laboratory analysis of incoming milk, cream, or blends
• Unload and load milk tankers; store products in accordance with governmental regulations
• Maintain facility sanitation, including Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of walls, floors, ceilings, and other non‑contact surfaces
• Operate yard horse on plant property only
• Handle and maneuver objects up to 100 lbs while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Follow all safety and quality procedures; training will be provided

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED

Qualifications

• Preference for candidates with dairy or manufacturing experience
• Mechanically inclined candidates may be more successful

Pay

• Base rate: $27.74 per hour
• 10% night differential added to base rate
• Eligibility for rate increases every 6 months for the first two years
• Starting pay range: $27.74 – $29.86 per hour

Schedule

Full‑time (40 hours/week), 3rd shift (11 pm – 7 am)
