Military Leadership Development Program

About the role

The Military Veteran Leadership Development Program (MVLDP) at Johnson & Johnson begins July 2027. This 18‑month program consists of three unique six‑month rotations designed for highly motivated, experienced military leaders. Rotations can span Supply Chain, Human Resources, Marketing, Procurement, Brand Management, Sales, and other functions, providing rich enterprise exposure, cross‑functional and cross‑sector experience, and a programmatic curriculum. Participants build strong relationships with leaders across the business, develop critical capabilities, and experience the breadth and depth of Johnson & Johnson through rotations tailored to personal development, experience, interest, and business need. Upon successful completion, participants move into full‑time roles and have the opportunity to shape business outcomes across Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech and Innovative Medicine segments. The program is rotational, with most rotations located in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Operating Companies or Corporate Headquarters (including sites in Horsham, PA; New Brunswick, NJ; Raritan, NJ; and Titusville, NJ).

Responsibilities

• Experience rich enterprise exposure and cross‑functional, cross‑sector rotations.
• Participate in the programmatic curriculum.
• Build a network of strong relationships with cross‑functional and cross‑sector leaders.
• Develop critical capabilities and experience the breadth and depth of Johnson & Johnson through rotations chosen based on personal development, experience, interest, and business need.
• After successful completion, transition into a full‑time role.
• Shape business outcomes across Johnson & Johnson’s business segments, MedTech and Innovative Medicine.

Qualifications

• Must be transitioning from active‑duty military service or have less than 4 years removed from service (0‑2 years transitioning preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of military leadership experience required (5‑10 years preferred).
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Relocation to the New Jersey or Pennsylvania area for the duration of the program is required.
• Demonstrated successful experience as a people manager and/or leader with a proven track record of success.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and deliver results.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, and adopt new AI tools and platforms to meet evolving project needs.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills (both oral and written).
• Desire to transfer military experience into a career in the healthcare sector with Johnson & Johnson.

• Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year.
• Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (56 hours for employees residing in the State of Washington).

Pay

The anticipated base pay for this position is $138,000.00.
