About the role

We are seeking an experienced military coach to work with service members and veterans looking to grow their skills and navigate their careers, as well as individuals looking to break into a military career. This role includes guidance on military strategy, military training, combat tactics, and leadership development, as well as helping clients navigate veterans affairs and their transition or career path with resume review, interview prep, networking strategy, salary negotiation, and ongoing skill building.

Responsibilities

• Guidance on military strategy, military training, combat tactics, and leadership development
• Navigate veterans affairs and support clients with resume review, interview prep, networking strategy, salary negotiation, and ongoing skill building
• Set one's own hours and rates
• Host sessions virtually
• Partner with Leland's team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every client

Requirements

• Hands-on military experience
• Prior coaching or mentoring experience
• A clear, structured approach to helping clients grow both their expertise and their career

Qualifications

• Experience working with service members and veterans
• Ability to provide guidance on military strategy, training, tactics, and leadership development
• Knowledge of veterans affairs and transition support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and set one's own schedule and rate

• Understanding of military operations and strategies
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Structured approach to client growth
• Experience with resume review, interview preparation, and networking
• Salary negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients
