Midwife / Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Outpatient up to $20,000 bonus

Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Nuvance Health, joining Northwell Health, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife or Women's Health NP for their OB/GYN group. This is an outpatient only position.

About the role

This position works 5 clinic days per week (80 hours per two week pay period), Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have excellent communication skills, easily establish rapport and trust with patients and families, is committed to evidence-based care and practices, and values working with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to a diverse patient population
• Work alongside 7 board certified physicians
• Admit exclusively to Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie
• Work 24/7 midwifery coverage alongside physician colleagues
• Collaborate with a Midwife/OB-GYN team

Requirements

• Experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife or Women's Health NP
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to establish rapport and trust with patients and families
• Commitment to evidence-based care and practices
• Passion for lifelong learning and professional development

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife or Women's Health NP in the state of New York
• Completion of a graduate degree in Nursing
• Completion of a nationally accredited midwifery program

Pay

$130,000 - $200,000 annually, relative to experience.
