Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health. Positions are part-time, offering 48+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care to obstetric patients.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for your assigned patients, ensuring seamless and effective care delivery.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient care delivery.
• Maintain accurate data collection and ensure documentation reflects the care provided, adhering to hospital policies and timeframes.
• Provide timely health information and written materials to patients and their significant others, documenting these interactions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of nursing care through participation in performance improvement initiatives.
• Accept accountability for your practice and development; stay updated with current nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Project a positive professional image through appearance and behavior.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours of approved Continuing Education (CE) every two years as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Continuous certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Attain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain continuous certification.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Continuing Education: Completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours of approved Continuing Education (CE) every two years as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Certifications: Continuous certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS). Attain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain continuous certification.
