Position Overview
The Middle School Girls' Volleyball Coach is responsible for supporting the success of the Middle School Girls' Volleyball program. The coach manages the day-to-day operations of the program while preparing student-athletes for the next level of their athletic journey.
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive team culture – model teamwork, trust, inclusivity, respect and leadership; encourage sportsmanlike conduct at all times.
- Manage and supervise practices and athletic events.
- Work with student athletes to improve their abilities in Middle School Girls' Volleyball.
- Partner with coaching staff to provide unity across all levels and teams.
- Encourage and support multi-sport athletes within Breck.
Qualifications
- Prior playing or coaching experience Girls' Volleyball (at the Middle School or High School is preferred).
- Ability to work effectively and positively with adolescent athletes.
- Knowledge of Girls' Volleyball fundamentals and effective coaching techniques and skills, of Middle School Girls' Volleyball.
- Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with school administrators, opponents, staff, parents, and athletes.
- Exhibits professionalism, organizational, communication, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
