Middle School Assistant Track and Field Coach

Position Overview The Middle School Head Assistant Track and Field Coach leads and supports a positive volleyball program focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This role helps student-athletes grow both on and off the court. Responsibilities Lead and organize practices and matchesTeach basic track and field skills, rules, and meet strategySupervise athletes during practices, competitions, and travelPromote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectCommunicate with athletes, parents, and the athletic departmentEnsure student-athletes meet eligibility and academic expectationsFollow school, district, and athletic association policiesMaintain equipment and prioritize player safety Qualifications Knowledge of track and field fundamentalsCoaching or playing experience preferredAbility to work well with middle school studentsStrong communication and leadership skillsCPR/AED and required school certifications (or willingness to obtain) Reports To Middle School Athletic Director
