About the Role

We are looking for a Middle School Assistant Track Coach to support student athletes of differing abilities. The role requires knowledge of WIAA rules, effective coaching practices, and the ability to maintain composure during practices and competitions.

Responsibilities

• Coach middle school track athletes using effective techniques and practices.
• Maintain accurate and reliable records and data.
• Collaborate with other coaches, staff, and families through various communication methods.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making during practices and competitions.
• Relate to students of varying athletic abilities while maintaining professionalism.
• Meet punctuality and attendance expectations for practices and events.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• 19 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of WIAA rules, regulations, and required training/clinics for track.
• Possess or ability to obtain first aid certificate, CPR card, and AED training.
• Successful experience or demonstrated knowledge of coaching track.
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Fingerprint and background check required.
