Mid-Level Litigation Associate

The Birmingham office of Holland & Knight has an immediate opportunity for a litigation associate with 3-5 years of transferrable experience for its fast-paced, multi-faceted litigation practice group. The ideal candidate should have significant experience with litigation procedure, including drafting motions, and experience managing discovery in complex cases. The candidate must have an exceptional academic background, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability and desire to interface directly with clients and opposing counsel. Case workload will include commercial, regulatory, and litigation matters. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, a deep commitment to client service, community involvement, and the ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize matters is essential. This role, which is a partnership track position, offers the opportunity to work as part of a highly experienced litigation team, including partners, senior counsel, and associates, with a long history of collaboration and client service excellence. This role should consider their default working location to be in the office and will be expected to be onsite full time and no fewer than three business days per week.
