Mid-Level Litigation Associate

About the role

The Mid-Level Litigation Associate position at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is located in our Denver office. This role requires a minimum of four years of commercial civil litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and related litigation documents
• Manage discovery, including taking and defending witnesses for depositions
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing

Requirements

• Minimum of four years' litigation experience
• Ability to learn and adapt to new skills and best practices
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials
• Ability to work in the U.S.

Pay

The annual compensation range for this role in our Colorado office is between $225,000 and $245,000.

Schedule

This position is considered full-time and is therefore eligible to participate in employer-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, vision, as well as elective or voluntary life, disability, accident coverage, paid holidays, paid time off, and eligible reimbursements.
