About the role

A leading international law firm seeks a mid-level Finance Associate to join its sophisticated finance practice. Ideal for attorneys with experience in complex transactional environments and a desire to work on high-profile domestic and cross-border financing matters.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in acquisition financings, syndicated credit facilities, reserve-based lending, asset-based lending, bridge loans, secured and unsecured term lending, working capital facilities, and high-yield debt offerings.
  • Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Work closely with experienced partners on a variety of industries including energy, infrastructure, financial services, and private equity.

Requirements

  • A JD from an accredited law school
  • Previous experience working in a law firm
  • 3–6 years of substantive finance experience
  • Experience handling syndicated lending, acquisition financings, asset-based lending, reserve-based lending, or other secured finance transactions
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • The ability to manage multiple matters effectively in a deadline-driven environment
  • Admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility to waive into or sit for the Texas Bar
