About the role
The Finance practice group at MoFo is seeking an experienced attorney to join our team. This position is led by Dario Avram, a co-chair of the Finance practice group.
Responsibilities
- Work on complex and fast-paced financing transactions
- Collaborate with a diverse group of smart and collaborative colleagues
Requirements
- 3-6 years of law firm experience, primarily representing banks, other institutional lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions
- Specific experience in leveraged lending, syndicated lending and sponsor finance preferred
- Demonstrated experience with leveraged finance
- Skills in drafting, editing, and reviewing loan documents, including loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers and closing documentation
- Proactive, with a strong business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
- Communicate complex matters clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and are committed to delivering excellent client service
- Strong work ethic, team player attitude, and an action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions
- Demonstrate high initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship skills
