Mid-Level Corporate Associate – Denver
About the role
Holland & Knight LLP’s Denver office seeks a mid-level associate to join its dynamic M&A and private equity practice. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on public or private company M&A and related corporate matters, including private equity, transactional energy and related infrastructure work, capital markets/related M&A work, and related business matters.
Responsibilities
- Handle public and private company M&A transactions and related corporate matters
- Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and ancillary transactional documentation
- Manage internal and external client relationships with a high degree of professionalism
Requirements
- 3–5 years of corporate transactional experience
- Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and M&A/private equity documentation
- Excellent academic credentials
- Admission to Colorado bar or eligibility to waive in
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a large regional, national, or international law firm
- Proficiency in drafting M&A and private equity transactional documents
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of maturity and business sense

Pay
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act, the pay range for this position in Colorado is $260,000 – $365,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on the individual’s qualifications and experience.
